This training covers the fundamentals of cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding endowment gifts. We will discuss the compelling need for endowment support. Donors have specific motivations for endowed gifts and we will explore ways to effectively cultivate and successfully solicit for such gifts as chairs, scholarships and fellowships, and research.

How endowed funds work, including investment, payout, and the growth of principle
Why endowed gifts are of critical importance to the long-term health of UCLA
Best practices in demonstrating to donors the impact of endowed gifts
